Arts Council Outreach Project - new feedback and new show booking!
NSC were very fortunate to be granted Arts Council funding in the autumn and have been working hard to deliver live Shakespeare into schools across the Region.
This project is at the very soul and centre of what we are about as artists - changing minds and challenging stereotypes - bringing Shakespeare to people who think they don't like Shakespeare.
We are particularly pleased with the feedback we have been receiving from teachers and students, one of whom went from writing, "gonna be bad – not really useful" to saying, "Absolute cinema! - Helped me."
Lisa Wightman, Head of Engagement, Stretch and Challenge at South Wolds Academy, also wrote, "...you made it live for them. Thank you. I don't think I've ever seen a year group so engaged by a Shakespeare production."
